verb. to be driving at an average rate of speed in an american muscle car that has a famous large engine like a ford 302 or chevy 350 and suddenly shift down into second gear, forcing the rpms to jump. a thunderous noise from your exhaust results, leaving those around you in awe at the beauty of american engineering.
i totally just 2nd geared those hipsters walking down the street. one of them jumped like a foot at my exhaust note.
