sarcastic way of referring to the teenage angst surrounding the characters from the nickelodeon cartoon avatar: the last airbender. dervied from the name of the protagonist aang, the last airbender and avatar.
jim: i don’t understand why you love this cartoon so much, it’s not even real anime.
