Allawh
allawh(al-lawh) is “the-law” of everything, especially the heavens and earth and inbetween, according to muslims. a misconception is that the pr-nunciation is “allah”(alah) but this is incorrect. in arabic, the “a” makes “llawh” heavy with an “awh” sound(exactly like in “law” except with a breath of an “h” sound at the end). it is only with “li” in the prefix does “llawh” change to “llah”. so you can say “lillah”(lil-lah) but not “allah” since the prefix “a” makes it heavy.
