ansible


an ansible is a fictional device that enables instantaneous communication across vast distances in sp-ce. it overcomes the problem of delays in communication due to the limit of the speed of light. the term was first coined by ursula le guin and has subsequently been adopted by other science fiction writers.
with the ansible communicator, you could talk with that world as if by radio with the next town.
