a state of affairs where correlation has been incorrectly -ssumed to imply causality. originates in a story where in the 1700s, bellows were used to pump smoke into the r-ct-m of victims of drowning to resuscitate them, because of a single incident where this treatment had been applied and the patient recovered.
so because these two people have the same first name and age, anyone else with the same name is the same age? that’s -rs- bellows!
