an atrocious emoticon; an emoticon that is atrocious.
encomp-ssing the standard “:-)” and “;)” but also including more graphic and detailed “emoji” style emoticons, specifically overly joyful smiling faces and radiant beaming love hearts.
however, the term is somewhat redundant because all emoticons, by definition, are atrocious.
