babycation
time off from work taken by new parents to go to the hospital/birthing center/wal mart/north of us border in order to give birth to a baby. a babycation optionally includes extra time to get used to having a baby at home. this time is used to get used to getting no sleep, and adjusting to the nigh constant smell of putrid milk -ssociated with baby spit-up.
