bacouple
a j-panese slang portmanteau of the words baka and couple (couple is pr-nounced kappuru in j-panese).
used to refer to a couple who, prior to being together, at least had the sense of shame to not flirt with each other in public and embarr-ss people they know or gross out everyone else.
“jack and jane are such a bacouple, wearing those silly matching clothes and flirting around in the middle of a shopping mall. let’s pretend we don’t know them.”
