a polite way of saying “f-ck off”. however, its more appropriate to use when someone is begging for money or material things.
fred: “hey mike can i have 10$?”
mike: “no sorry man, i’m saving up.”
fred: “but i really need it. please please please.”
mike: “fred, bag off. you aren’t getting any money!”
