banana logic

a term used to describe flawed logic.
a man picks up two bananas and sticks one in each ear. he looks around and notices that he doesn’t see any alligators. using banana logic, he would conclude that alligators must be afraid of bananas and, therefore, the bananas are the reason he doesn’t see any aligators.
