a type of dancable rap music from florida popularized by the two live crew and luke in the late 80’s. deep low beats by the 808 drum machine, high energy rhythms and a upbeat sunny/party/fun and s-xy att-tude marks this kind of music. miami was the first state to put high-watt stereo systems in cars, trucks and suv’s – b-ss music’s influnce can still be felt (really) on streets everywhere.
