beatnix is a retro style coffee shop/deli in midtown oklahoma city, ok where espresso is cool and the food is hip. bacon egg and cheese sandwiches are regular fare. started in feburary 2008 by dad and daughter, daughter rachel had the inspiration for the name as she personally identified with the “beanik generation”. the beatnix cafe is a place where everyone is welcome and usually everybody knows your name.
