a state of elation and joy from consuming alcohol, usually accompanied by laughter or chuckling…similar to getting the giggles when high.
sadly enough, at the company christmas party, the office nerd, whom had never finished off an entire beer in his life, was found in the corner with the beer giggles, laughing it up with his imaginary girl friend from canada.
