one who does not pay his or her fair share of the bar tab, usually using excuses such as “i get paid in a few days” ” i left my wallet at home” and usually followed by the words, “i’ll get you back later” or something similar. this person is said to have b-tch pockets. the proper reaction is to mutter the phrase “b-tch pockets” every time they cheap out, under your breath, until the message is received and the problem resolves itself.
“hey guys, can you cover my share of the tab tonight? im broke till payday, but i promise i’ll pay you back next week”
