blade icewood (darnell quincy lindsay, march 14, 1977 – april 19, 2005) was a detroit-based rap artist. he was a local celebrity known for representing what went on in detroit with such hits as boy would you and all my life. he was slain at a carwash on 7mile & faust on april 19, 2005. also known as “ruler of tha great lakes”, lindsay was a member of the detroit based rap group street lordz. in 2005, he formed icewood entertainment, and he signed as his first artists candi cane, balee, & cash out. his label was taken over by close family members after his death.
