similar to cl-ssmate; the only difference is that a “blockmate” is remembered as one of a student’s first cl-ssmates the moment he/she enters college the first time.
“blockmate” may also refer to a student’s cl-ssmate for the entire stay in college, although this is evidently present in colleges that arrange the students’ cl-ss structure.
