they are the centre of the government of the county of wales.

at the top of each of the three towers is a penthouse apartment; the first tower, named the edward i tower provides a city residence for the high sheriff. the second, known as the henry viii tower provides a residence for the deputy sheriff, lt. col. richard w. norman cbe phd. the 3rd tower, the elizabeth ii tower is the high sheriff’s families’ residence.
