Blue Ridge Spirit
a feeling that is impossible to describe to someone who hasn’t experienced it. the closest synonym is “extreme happiness”. it originated in north carolina on top of a mountain at the ymca blue ridge -ssembly, but has since spread across the country. once someone has felt the spirit, they will never be the same. this feeling is invoked by green rocking chairs, eureka treats, cheerwine, and mountain air. usually expressed using spirit fingers.
