derogatory term in reference to mundane and uninspired residential architecture featuring large square or rectangular facades and clunky interior sp-ces. frequently used by builders to leverage the low cost/quality of construction.
i can’t believe the price the builder is asking for the house down the street . . . it is nothing but a bobby box.
