Bonky

n. (also spelt “bonkie, bonkey”), a black person who attempts to behave (or -ssume the airs of) a quintessential, white person. the bonky is oftentimes seen: wearing wire-framed spectacles and a flannel shirt tucked neatly into a pair of khaki trousers, -ssuming a nasally and overworked white, suburban accent; smiling unhesitatingly; and boasting a european name (i.e. john d. bailey). in popular culture, carlton banks of the sitcom ‘the fresh prince of bel-air’ would be an archetypal bonky.
