Boston Pizza
a verb, meaning to tell someone they’re hired, then when they show up for work or ask for their schedule, you d-ck them around and tell them you’ll call them back later with shifts but you never do.
1. “hey, so i heard you got hired at bluenotes, how is that going?”
“oh, they are totally boston pizzaing me and told me they would give me a call when they have shifts for me….but it’s been a whole month now”
2. “so i don’t think we have an opening for that new guy we hired….”
“oh, it’s okay, we can just boston pizza him.”
one place you should never, ever eat in. i went there with some friends and ended up waiting for 35 f-cking minutes, which wouldnt make any sense because only one person was in there. so we order our drinks first, and then the guy gives us the godd-mn check instead of the menu. so we just left and ordered take-out.
waitor: welcome to boston pizza, please wait in line, we are crowded.
me: theres one person in there!
waitor: (closes the door), now we are.
