any situation during which one is forced to do something they would rather not do. this includes any number of things, but is most often used in the context of a laboratory.
also an adjective describing one’s ridiculous mannerisms or demands – usually those of an authority figure.
bowdgery is also an acceptable variation of bowdge.
pr-nounced bowj (like bow but with the juh sound on the end)
d-mn man this is complete bowdgery; i legitimately thought that test was next week.
