one of the five boroughs of nyc which was originally part of westchester county in the 1800’s til they made the subway connection from the bronx to manhattan. home of hip hop music and culture. home of the bronx zoo, the yankees, botanical gardens, zulu nation(originally the black spades) and birth place of john gotti. the only borough which has “the” in front of it’s name.

correctly called ‘the bronx’ or ‘da bronx’, once the farm of jonas bronk and the only new york city borough on the mainland. home to many famous and talented people over the centuries. calvin klein and ralph lauren, for example came from the same neighborhood in the bronx. tony curtis, regis phibin ,billy joel and many others grew up there. it has a rich history. population is about 1.5m.
the bronx is a great place to be from.

there’s nothing like the famous bronx. very rich history where one of the greatest movies of all time, “the bronx tale”( italian mafia film) took place. cl-ssy cars, money and clothes is a big thing here. lil’ italy located in belmont area, bx is one of the most gorgeous places filled with the top fine pastry shops and the best famous italian bread you will ever find in america..many people come from all over just to shop there. there are certain parts of the bronx that italian mobs still run today..usually familes migrated here from italy a long time ago..bronx new yawk will always be number one no matter what happends. =]
