Brumming
a brummie (someone from birmingham or surrounding area) who is in a state of elation or disappointment and expressing this state with a raised voice. people in ear shot of this brumming may refer to this as ‘brumming’ or ‘brum brum’.
brummie – “arr i’m sick of this!”
bystander – “brum brum brum” (muttered under voice)
or
brummie – “i just batted a double century not out. sensational!”
bystander – “stop brumming about your cricket skills”
