back in the day, sat-rdays used to be the day to kop an outfit for the weekend. whether it may have been the new jordan’s, or a pair of uptowns, these sat-rdays were monumental for selling out entire product lines. cats back in the day referred to these as “blowout sat-rdays”. buckdime is an expression used to characterize what you were able to get on these blowout sat-rdays; a pair of kicks and usually a tee to match. for all of that you payed a buckdime ($110).
