kicking a scholarship player off a team for another player before they even get a chance to spend 1 day in college despite the player having done nothing wrong. similar to the act of creaning, but in this case the player never even spends a day on campus before given his walking papers despite signing a national letter of intent to play at the university.
despite having no scholarships available, the head coach made one available by buzzcutting a player who signed a national letter of intent and planned on enrolling this year.
