a carbon filter is an attaachment sold for gl-ss on gl-ss bongs. it is composed a male joint at the bottom, a large spherical chamer to fill with carbon, with a gl-sss screen preventing any from falling out, and a female joint on top. a carbon filter makes even the sh-ttiest china bud taste smokeable. and the taste is undescribable if your smokling a good strain in it! as an added bonus, nearly all the tar is filtered out of the hit and your bong will never get dirty.
