chasing the dragonfly is term coined by nick gardner and alec nichols for shooting up heroin. the dragonfly is a symbol for heroin. the chasing part comes from of how you chase the liquid down into your veins using a syringe.
nick: -pulls out syringe full of heroin.-
alec: what are you doing man?
nick: chasing the dragonfly emabrosa.
alec: dude, that’s awesome.
nick: yep, we’re all just trees man.
alec: dude where’s the dragonfly running off to man?
