Christmas Ave
christmas ave is the night before christmas eve (the eve of the eve, december 23). traditionally siblings exchange gifts on this night.
i wanted to open a christmas gift two days before christmas, so i told my parents it was okay because it was christmas ave. they countered with allowing me to open a gift from my brother.
i opened a christmas gift two days early this year. turns out, that’s christmas ave (december 23rd).
