cnn meme war
a war between cnn and every meme page on the entire planet. the initial conflict started in 2017 when cnn threatened to release a 15 year old’s personal information if he did not apologize for a gif he made of u.s. president donald j. trump beating the sh-t out of a man with the cnn logo on his head. the internet responded with a meme barrage almost unmatched in duration and size, possibly the largest in the past decade. it is largely considered the second great meme war, the first taking place in 2015 when donald trump started campaigning for the republican party.
