Combat Arms

an excellent fps game that could’ve been better if it weren’t for all the hackers and noobs screaming “chams and hacks!!!” everytime they die.

also, most of the elite moderators of rooms cannot stand being killed, so avoid them if you ever play a match with them, or else you’ll be kicked.
-gets an unbelieveable-

elite (noob) moderator: wow…hacker.

player 1: just because i killed you? d:

player 2: kick him he chams!

-player 1 is kicked-

typical day of combat arms.
a great fps that is flooded with hackers.

person 1: do you hack in combat arms?
person 2: well, the question is, do you hack?
a game that involves every player to rage and cast false accusations of players being script kiddies every time they are killed, even if in the most simplest of ways. to prevent the actual event of a real “hacker” joining a game, 40+ year old men that play typically purchase super elite/elite moderator room powers to kick anyone who as so much as gets a multi-kill or successfully 1v4 clutches during a elimination pro/s&d match.
combat arms player 1: -camps on grave digger stairs for 8/11 rounds-
combat arms player 2: -quickly smgs player 1 from below-
_wheaties_: “wow, he’s definitely using chams.”
combat arms is entirely a multiplayer game with no single-player mode, and contains 4 game modes: elimination (team deathmatch), one man army (deathmatch), search & destroy (bomb mode), and capture the flag, and as of now consists of 6 maps: warhead (factory), pump jack (oil station in a desert), snow valley, (a missile launch site in the middle of snow-covered mountains), gray hammer (factory), junk flea (desert junkyard) and cold seed (snow-covered mine).

players who start a room, (known as the room master) are able to choose the map, game mode, set score and time limits, and controls the weapons other players can use or not use, (for example, melee only, or no sniper rifles allowed).

players are able to obtain in-game money (gp) and experience after a match, allowing them to rank up and buy new weapons and equipment, such as armor, uniforms, and backpacks for their persistent characters. there is a rental system of equipment instead of actual purchases of the weapons and gear. the rental periods are 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, and 90 days, each rental period costing more in-game money.

this rental period has caused much criticism to the game as players are upset that they cannot own weapons that they buy forever and that they have to keep playing to make up for the gp they used to purchase weapons and gear.

the game design was based on a game known as heat project, a game made in korea. the game also uses a customizations system where players can buy silencers, larger magazines, and different types of scopes.
noob: d’omfg, noob. what is that game you’re playing?

l33t guy: combat arms, noob.
an awesome online fps action game, which for some reason if you kill someone around a corner they yell out “f-cking chammer” and “hacker, get a life” it is also full of hackers and should try to update their anti-cheat system.
a typical match inside combat arms.

nooblet: wow, how’d you know i was there? hacker.

you: dude i saw you go there, calm your b-lls man.

nooblet: okay sure chammer, teamview?

you: why? so you can prove your a nub for accussing me of hacking?

nooblet: duh. but now your nooby teammates are kicking you so i’ll just f5 and go with that.

(kicked for hacking)

in the lobby game room after being kicked

you: sup man, you get kicked too?

guy 1: yep, these guys are noobs…

guy 2: i know they are such f-ggots.

you: tell me about it…
combat arms: really great free fps, or really bad hacker community? let’s delve today.

some of the strong points of combat arms (c.a.) is how there’s just so much of it, and it constantly gets alot more stuff added to it everyday. there’s literally hundreds of guns, dozens of modifications and around 80 ranks to achieve -the highest rank so far achieved is by greatfullded, who is about rank 50). the player base used to be really fun, with multiple game modes and plenty of maps.

for all of you tl;dr, here’s the games modes and maps:

game modes: elimination, elimination pro, quarantine mode, fireteam, one man army, capture the flag, spy hunt, last man standing, search & destroy, snowball fight and bombing run. 11 in total.

maps: kill creek, overdose, death room, junk flea, short fuse, two towers, grave digger, cabin fever, snow valley, waverider, showdown, gray hammer, brushwood, sand hog, warhead, desert thunder, power surge, roadkill, pump jack, cold seed, rattlesnake. 21 in total.

new maps and gaming modes are still being created, so if you’re into this kind of thing, try combat arms. it’s really great, with new maps, weapons, items, accessories, gear and bonuses unlocking when you reach higher ranks.

player: wait, what! no, hold on –

combat arms is a very fun and addictive free online fps that is made by nexon. this game features game variants such as: elimination, one man army, capture the flag, search and destroy and spy hunt. there are several different levels you can choose from and you can add a spin on the game by adding rules to the match, such as: no grenades, no snipers, knives only, etc. you can purchase, more so rent, equipment; like guns, vests, camouflage, etc. to purchase these things you must earn in game money (gp) by ranking up and generally just playing. while ranking up you unlock more items to rent. also you can shoot someone in the nuts, reffered to as a “nut shot”, which is an instant kill: much like a head shot.

some draw backs of the game are: you cannot actually purchase weapons, you simply rent them for different periods, ranging from 1 day to 90 days, the longer you rent the item the more in game money (gp) it will cost you. most players will accuse anyone who kills them to be a hacker and start whining and complaining more than a four (4) year old girl who just watched all her toys and her favourite puppy get incinerated.
-player 1 gets a head shot on player 2 while playing combat arms-

player 2: “omg player 1 hacks!!!11”

player 1 : “yeah, okay nub”
