information age warfare. the strategy of maintaining power and control over one’s subordinates or opponents by burying them in disinformation in order to promote confusion, paranoia and mistrust. the point of this type of propaganda is not to persuade anyone, but to keep the target audience engaged, distracted and unable to effectively unite in opposition.
