Country Club Effect
when you find yourself waving and saying h-llo to everyone you see at a country club. other symptoms include saying “nice shot” when they hit an average shot when playing golf. you also find your self doing this at cr-ppy public courses and everyone thinks you’re weird.
golfer: i just waved at some guy driving down the thruway.
friend: man, you got country club effect bad!
