cryptosarcasm (n.): the art of making a remark so unexpectedly and ambiguously complimentary that n-body can be sure whether or not one is being sarcastic.
phil: john commented on my photo earlier saying “this photo of you looks really nice.” which goes against his personality a little. i can’t tell if he’s being sarcastic or not.
