danger bottle
a container (often a nalgene) into which cold and tired conservation crew members pee to avoid leaving their tents at night. danger bags can also be used but are far more dangerous and embarr-ssing.
“bad news, guys. the danger bottle wrecked my sleeping bag last night. sorry if i smell like p-ss — you’re going to have to deal with it for the next seven days.”
in the event of a nocturnal pee emergency, a danger bottle is highly preferable to your helmet.
