Darth Real Life
darth real life (usually shortened to drl) is a term most often used in the star wars fandom.
in a homage to the t-tle of a sith lord (darth), this term is used to describe real life events that has kept an author or other member away from fandom.
“i’m sorry i haven’t reviewed the last two chapters, but drl is wreaking havoc at home.”
“darth real life is currently doing his best to keep me away from fandom this month…”
