rick:nah, man. but that explains why he hasn’t been hanging out much. so, when did you talk to him?
bob: oh, actually i haven’t talked to or seen him yet…
rick: then how did you know his dad was dead?
bob: well they had that other guy working at the hardware store everyday and i asked where his dad was. they said “he’s no longer with us.” i just thought they meant he quit, but it didn’t dawn on me until later that they meant he p-ssed away.
