dead fresh
an expression that replaces “pretty cool”; an affirmation. typically used as a sort of “counter-anglicism” to mirror other quebecois slang that uses english words but just doesn’t sound right.
to be used with a deliberate accent as an inside joke by slipping it into regular conversation and hoping it’ll catch on.
“i went to see this band and they were dead fresh, man.”
