actually, historically italians are light skinned light hair. italians didn’t begin having dark skin and hair until the moors conquered sicily. they bred with the light skin/hair italians and p-ssed on their genetic make up. over the years, the half white half black offspring bred through many generations making what is today a dark haired/ olive skinned population.
