Baseband

a transmission technique using a narrow range of frequencies that allows only one message to be telecommunicated at a time See also broadband
A transmission medium through which digital signals are sent without frequency shifting. In general, only one communication channel is available at any given time.
Ethernet is an example of a baseband network.
