Syringomyelocele
syringomyelocele sy·rin·go·my·e·lo·cele (sə-rĭng’gō-mī’ə-lə-sēl’)
n.
A form of spina bifida in which the fluid of the syrinx in the spinal cord is increased, expanding the cord tissue into a thin-walled sac that in turn expands through the vertebral defect.
