the actions of a leader who manipulates his or her underlings by angering, imp-ssioning, or scaring them, usually with false claims or wild speculation. this is done to strengthen the leader’s power, and/or to further a political agenda.
some -sshole shot somebody at a park today and anti-gun demagoguery is already pouring in from liberal politicians.
