verb. the act of having one’s computer confiscated and locked in a cupboard (the latter is optional) by one’s parents. a common trigger for dennis hannage incidents is excessive gaming habits on the victim’s behalf, often in the place of study. most dennis han victims have been known to have seen a phenomenal increase in their grades after the incident. this is known as the dennis han phenomenon. there is still no plausible scientific explanation for this phenomenon.
