to under-emphasize something. the opposite of exaggerate.
she totally dezaggerated how crazy her friend is.
when someone exaggerates something backwards. often used with the words like or so preceding it.
man: dude, i slept for like, two minutes last night.
dude: c’mon man don’t dezaggerate.
man: yeah ok i slept for an hour.
