Digital Steering

driving term. the art of breaking a smooth cornering manoeuvre into a number of straight steps, causing any p-ssengers to believe that the car is about to hit the side of the road at the end of each ‘step’.

this technique is quite common amongst those who have only recently started driving.
my wife has honed her digital steering skill to such an extent that she can even bounce from side to side when driving down a perfectly straight piece of road.
