distracted dining
diverted attention while eating either solo or with others. may occur in a private residence, or at a restaurant or public event. minor distractions may include obnoxious people in the vicinity; major disturbances may include medical or police emergencies.
i had a distracted dining experience last thanksgiving. my sister’s baby wouldn’t stop crying and fussing.
a guy collapsed in the cafeteria the other day. we had to call paramedics. it was definitely distracted dining.
