a term (noun) derived from the 1990s to early 2000s which explains the acquisition of free burgers from a fast-food restaurant/take-away (i.e.: mcdonalds et. al.) due to a loop-hole of policy in selling already prepared burgers that had surp*ssed a particular amount of time of which could be sold to the public. a consumer could then take their dog and request ‘doggy burgers’ (old burgers) which would be able to access upon request when making a regular purchase (sometimes restricted to drive-thru only).
