think ‘stage fright’. a dollop of dread is anything that makes you feel an acceptable, or sometimes expected, sensation of anxiety or tension, but usually not enough to persuade you away from whatever caused it.
i had a real dollop of dread before that last test we had to take, but i think i did alright.

n. a kind of margin in the head of a newspaper where the name of the author is written it gave him a thrill to see his name in a by-line, especially next to the postage-stamp picture you sometimes got.
- Great White Buddha
just a nice way of saying “toilet.” this phrase is most often used with the word worshiping, as in: “neal was so repulsed by the picture that he spent the rest of the evening worshiping the great white buddha.” this, of course, describes the act of throwing up.
