a doomiverse is a particular setting in a doom game (see entry on doom game). multiple doomiversii have been made for the sake of canon, which doom game creator mister big t said (citation needed) was among his top 3 most important aspects of game creation.
doom 4 took place in the same doomiverse as doom 2.
