Dork Knot
the dork knot was the ponytail that fastened the short-cropped plume of hair on the quasi-mullet hairstyle that was popular with artsy graphic designers back in the late 1980’s. using a ponytail to fasten back about 30 strands of short-cropped hair seemed utterly useless, and looked stupid. the trend was popular for about 10 minutes. the men who wore dork knots were usually arrogant dork types.
ringo starr really looked good wearing that dork knot.
